Morning Nausea
Is anyone else feeling nauseated in the morning? I seemed to be fine when I was at home, but now that I am back to work, I have trouble whether I jump into a protein shake or just sip water. The rest of the day I seem to be fine, I just have trouble in the am.
If it helps to add this, I have been having trouble getting in all of my protein as well. It has been very hot here, and I just have not felt hungry! Probably about 40 grams per day for the last two days.
Any others out there?

You know, when I started setting my alarm clock and going back to work, I started having nausea in the morning too. I can't figure out the exact cause.
It seems like some foods that I eat for dinner trigger my pouch to produce a lot of mucus. (Like when I had a mashed meatball with mashed potatos - or if I eat too much and get too full).
It could be post nasal drip - it doesn't take much of that stuff to irritate our pouches.
I read somewhere (and for the life of me I can't remember where) that we should not drink anything 30 minutes prior to laying down.
Or maybe we are not drinking enough and get more dehydrated at night?
Who knows. I went to my doc and he gave me something for nausea so I can take it when I need it. Oh, and you are not alone in getting all your protein in....I'm sucking at that right now. Trying to do better though.
Hope you feel better soon!
