WHAT'S COOKIN GOOD LOOKIN?
hey all! will try this again, although not getting great responses, i'm sure it will pick up once everyone in june is done and eating more foods!
b - 1 oz cheddar cheese
l - 1/3 c firehouse chili, slice of provolone cheese
s - vanilla protein drink, w 8oz carb countdown milk and 1/3 sm banana
d - nothing, this heat is killing me
s - think i will have a glass of carb countdown choc milk
591 calories and 63g protein! 60 oz water so far
anybody else?
B- cream of wheat
L - (went to a baby shower) 3 club crackers + 1 Tsp crab dip + 1/2 tsp of cheese dip + 3 macaroni noodles + 1 cube of potato from the potato salad
D - 2 TBSP hot crab dip + 4 mini soy crisps
S - small SF Crystal Light Mango Peach slurpee
40 oz water + 2 cups hot tea
Busy day! Went shopping this morning for baby gifts - a couple of different stores. Then I went to the baby shower. Then I went to the Seafood shack to get some crab meat. Came home and made crab dip for me and hubby...then went for our mile walk. I'm pooped!!!
Hey Mary Jo, just thought I'd say hello before bed, just got out of shower, tried pureed veg soup, it SUCKS!!!!!! Omg the taste is still in my mouth. I sure need to talk to someone on the phone about all this changing in my life, been down all day, until I cooked my veg soup, got so excited, and was just let down. Any suggestions? Kathy
hey kathy! i'm sorry your soup was yucky. i can tell you this much. i have not pureed anything. i only eat things that are on my list, but i cut my food up real small, about the size of a pea, and i chew chew chew. i have not had any trouble, just couldn't stomach the idea of pureeing my food! it works for me, but you have to be comfortable and make your own decisions. i wouldn't suggest to anyone doing something against their doc's orders, but this is what i have to do to eat! otherwise, i would puke at the sight of pureed foods! also wanted to mention from earlier...my doc sent me home with phenergan, for nausea. if you continue to feel sick everyday, you might want to mention it. good luck!
Hey Mary Jo, I am done with PUREED FOOD!!! I ate some lowfat cottage cheese, some juice from the soup, FEEL so much better. Thanks for all your advice and concern. Should I be concern that the scaled didn't move this morning? also what is the right amount too eat and how often. Told you I wasn't educated on this and I am serious. Being a self pay has no advantage! Please help me out here..... Hugs and Prayers kathy
don't be concerned at all about the scale. i lost 17 lbs in the first 8 days, then stalled for a few days, then gained 2 lbs! basically i lost nothing my 2nd week. as of this morning i have lost 21 lbs! so pretty much we are going to have stalls when our body is trying to adjust. the 3 most important things i have been told are liquids, protein and exercise. so don't worry if the scale stops moving here and there, it will start again!
