Well I feel Great, Today I am oficially TWO WEEKS POST-OP! Scars are almost healed, no tenderness of soreness at all. Still not sure when to stop eating. I know that when i eat too much I Hic-Up and BURP...BURP...BURP...BURP.........! I just don't know how to tell when I have had just enough not to hurt. I do know that I can only eat about 1/4 one quarter of what I used to be able to eat in one meal and my weight is constantly going down. This definately was the best desision I have ever made. Also the best money I have ever spent. Now to get on with my life. I just can not wait untill I can start digging into the back of my closet and get out the clothes that have not fit me and have been hiding back there for the past 5 five years.

Congratulations Paul! I hope I can say two weeks from now that things are going as well for me. Keep up the good work and I wish you the best of luck on the rest of your journey. As fun as it will be to get into those old clothes, I'm really looking forward to buying new little ones. Take care, Julie

Paul, It sound like you are doing great! I hiccup and burp if I eat too much, too. I haven't had pain or a "full" feeling yet either. And Amen to the digging in the closet!! I have clothes ranging through about 5 sizes in my closet! I can't wait to pull out those smaller sizes! Take care, Pam

Congrats Paul I too had my RNY on June 8th. This has been the best thing I have ever done also. I feel really an exception to all the rules because I have not had any bad feelings what so ever since I have had my surgery. I have lost 23 lbs so far and feeling great. I also do not know what full feels yet but I am sure we will know soon enough. The only thing I get is the Hiccups from drinking water. Good luck to you Paul. Sherry

Paul; Congrats! I also had my lapband on June 10th. I'm down 25 pounds since then and I've walked more in the past two weeks than in the past year combined. I've also been keeping a daily log in my profile which I find theraputic. Continued success and great health! All the best and god bless! Ed
