OMG! I had the greatest thing in the world today. My husband went out to dinner last night with an old friend and brought his leftovers home. Hot crab dip and a baked potato. I took 2 tablespoons of the baked potato and topped it with 2 teaspoons of crab dip and heated it in the microwave....I mashed it all up with a fork and MMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!! It was pure heaven and no *sick* feelings after eating it. If anyone is looking for ideas on that soft/mushy food stage, I give this one TWO thumbs up!! If anyone else has a great soft/mushy food idea...please....share! Pam

Pam, I'm 13 days post op and I ate some Mashed potatoes yesterday and again today.....HEAVEN! I'm a little guilty because I'm supposed to wait until I am 14 days out but the liquids were driving me insane! I didn't have any sick feelings after eating that so I'm hopeful that I'll be able to tolerate crab and fish. I hope you are doing well. Thanks for the tip, I love crab dip so I will definitely be trying it. Lashondra

Lisa, I'm so glad you posted this! I remember seeing it somewhere before and I bought all the stuff that I remembered at the grocery store...but once I got home, I had no clue how to make it!!! You just saved me! I'm gonna make this tomorrow. Thanks! Pam

It is surprising how good puree tastes comming out of liquid only. I am not out of liquids only but it has been 6 days and I confess I had some pureed egg and cheese. not even an ounce just to get the yuk taste out of my mouth. mmmmmmmmmm no sick no nothing

PAMELA... I have enjoyed this for the last 3 nights for dinner. ITs my italian food fix without the carbs in the noodles. I just love it. LET me know if you do the same. I just put a small portion together in a small baby size bowl (i have a 2 year old) and enjoy it. VERY FILLING too!!! LISA
