Finally got a date: June 28th

Well I finally got a date for surgery. I am not sure of the time but the date is June 28th. I am so excited! My daughter will not be able to be there since she will be in the middle of finals; she will come up after her last final the next day. Wish me luck!!

Hey Laural! I too am scheduled for June 28th, 8:00 a.m....laparoscopic RNY. I have finished all of my pre-op testing. Breezed through the Psych Eval, passed the cardiac/treadmill test and EKG; and now waiting for the results of my blood work. My surgeon asked me to lose some weight before the surgery; so far I've lost about 9 pounds. I don't know about you, but I am SO ready. I'm not nervous yet...not too scared - although that will probably change a little as the time gets closer. But basically I just am REALLY looking forward to the day after! I'm also scheduled for June 28. I was originally scheduled for May 31, but due to insurance glitch it is now definite for the 28th, not sure of the time yet. GOOD LUCK AND PRAYERS FOR ALL OF US!!! Betsy

Hey Everyone! I am also having my Open RNY on the 28th. I had carpal tunnel surgery 2 days ago so I am typing really slowly but just glad to be able to sit up some today. I had a problem with pain meds and had to get new ones today. Best of luck to everyone! My oldest child turns 20 on the 28th so I feel really good about it. Cindy Lou Who

Hello, I just found out today that I'm approved and my surgery date is June 28th as well. I'm very excited, not scared yet, but I'm sure I will be on the 28th. I'm sure everything will go well and just think this time next year there will be less of you Take care and in touch Roslyn
