The first few days after surgery were no fun, I'm not going to lie. As a matter of fact, I cried. I wanted to know what the heck had I done to myself. It's now been one week and I feel soooo much better. I'm actually up and around and feel pretty good. The best part is, I've lost 15 pounds. I never thought I'd feel this good this fast. Good luck to all you pre- and post-ops.

Hi Lilli!! FIFTEEN POUNDS!!! WOW!!! How long would THAT have taken without surgery!?!?!?! Anyway, I did really well out of surgery. I didn't even take the pain shots they offered except the one right after the recovery room. Now I am 4 days post op and I feel a little yucky. Not really "bad" per se, but I think I am still trying to identify the feelings I am having in my upper and lower stomach. I can't say it's really pain. I suppose there is still some gas laying around in there. I had my surgery (laparoscopic RNY) on Monday June 13. I will have my first office visit next Tuesday! I am still on clear liquids..how about you? Well, God bless and good luck on continued success! Rossana NJ
