Hi all, my date is June 23rd, and I am trying to make sure I have everything I need in the house, I also know not to buy too much as I may not be able to handle somethings. My doctor has a 2 week liquid diet after. I have picked up sugar free jello, in 3 flavors, sugar free pudding in 3 flavors, 2 cans of broth, and 2 different cans of Campbells Healthy Choice cream soups in 2 flavors, Crystal lite in 3 flavors. Any ideas for anything else. I couldn'd find the sugar free carnation, I found one that said 0 carbs, but it had 9 grams of sugar. Oh yeah I pick up some herbal caffeine tea. Any other ideas? Appreciate any advice. Thanks, And congrats to all those on the other side. Tammy

Hi, my surgery is the 20th so I'm stocking up too. Some of the things I got...light juice for the clear liquid stage, V-8, several kinds of protein drinks and mixes, and Powdered milk to mix into other things to increase the protein amount. Good luck on your surgery! Cindy

Hi Tammy.. I bought everything you did PLUS... 2 boxes of 24 count SF popcicles (we CAN'T stress those enough), Individual servings of Grits and oatmeal (rip the package open add water and nuke!) You may like Cream of Wheat or Malt-o-Meal (I don't). 4 cans of Refried beans (vegetarian/no fat), Soy "milk" (I'm already lactose intolerant so MIlk is out). Gatorade Propel Fitness Water. Small curd cottage cheese. You may need more broth and soup than what you say you have now plus a strainer for those creamed soups. Also, I bought canned tuna and chicken, Saltine Crackers, SF strawberry and apricot preserves, and organic PB. I purchased some Nectar Protein powders from the link on the Main board. This week I plan on getting..a blender, potted meat, corned beef hash, eggs(?), lowfat shredded cheese. Some "Atkin's" pudding, yogurt and meals. And.. more TV Dinners so my DH doesn't starve to death while I'm layed up! If I can't handle these things then I will be right back here auctioning them off. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Thanks for all the great ideas, looks like I need to make another trip to the store. I have been trying to not buy too much of anything in case I don't like it or can't handle it, but I still have to get the basics. I really appreciate all your help. Tammy

Knew i forgot something major.. instant mashed potatoes and maybe some low fat sour cream or SF ranch dressing to jazz-it-up. We really have to be creative because I hear ppl getting soo bored really fast. I learned a lot of this from my centers manual but the majority I learned from reding ppls profiles and seeing what they tolerated but of course we are all different and will have diff. reactions. Again, Good Luck and God Bless!
