Calling all lapband survivors or soon to be!!!

I live just outside of Springfield, Missouri and would like to hear from anyone who either has had the lapband or in the process of and especially those who live closer to me even. I am planning on having the surgery in July and am scared to death even though it is a safer surgery. Just need to hear from others who have been there and also share with those going through what I am right now. Look forward to hearing from you all!!
