I made It!!! - 3 day's post-op

WoooWhooo!!! I made it...Checked out of the hospital today and feeling pretty good...Pain is minimal except when I'm trying to schooch back in my chair so I can sit up straight and walking around makes my belly feel tight...So far no real desire to eat, but I am a little worried about getting dehydrated so trying to keep something to drink beside me all the time to remind me to take a sip...I'm still really gassy, keep belching - does this pass soon? Hospital check in weight was 238, have not been on a scale since then, but go on Monday for staple and drain removal, guess Dr. Way will put me on the scale then...I'm going to shop for one to have at home that does weight and BMI, open to suggestions if anyone has one they really like...

Way to go making it to the other side. Gassy will be there for a while. I know i still have mine. I had my surgery the day before you. Yes keep sipping dont want to get dehydrated thats for sure. Jess

To help with my GAS, when i was first home i had chewable GAS-x pills and used a half my 2nd day home! MY gas left me totally after that. GOOD LUCK....wishes for a speedy good recovery! IM 10 days post op and feeling great now!
