Off the Schedule
Just taking a minute to vent - I have been calling my Dr.'s office almost daily to follow up with all the insurance "stuff."
After my consulation with Dr. Bertha - I was put on the schedule for June 27 - I was soooo excited. But now it turns out that they took me off the schedule until I get an actual approval from the insurance company. I understand this - but why put me on the schedule in the first place!!
Talk about a roller coaster of emotions. From excited to devastated to just plain 'ol pissed off!!
The worst part - I told work that June 27 was my date, etc. etc. I work at a church so it isn't like I can just have a co-worker take my calls. The church has been very supportive - but now what do I say?? "I'm sorry but my Dr.'s office mis-informed me and I'm really not having surgery on the 27th." Grrrr!! I feel like such an idiot! But it's not my fault. I was told it would be on the 27th!!
Anyway - thanks for letting me vent! And good luck to everyone!! I am hoping to get another date soon. But I don't want to get to excited until I actually get an approval.
Blessings,
Holly
Hang in there HOLLY! I had to move my date out so i know how your feeling. My date went from MAY 25th to june 1....all sudden when i had a date no one was available to help with the kids......when everyone knew i wanted MAY surgery. HANG IN THERE you will get a date and be on the other side soon enough!!!!
I had to wait till last mintue for my clients, I am slef employed because i didnt know for sure if JUNE 1st was a goo...they actually switched a JUNE 1 person with me for the MAY 25th....and of course till the work approvals went thru..but in the end one person went in a week earlier and me a week later at my surgeons office!
GO FIGURE.
Hang in there.....
Lisa -
Thanks - I love this place! I think you guys truly are the only people who understand all of this, the joy, the frustration, everything! I tried to explain to my hubby why I was so angry and he listened, but I know he just doesn't understand.
So thanks - it's nice to know there are others out there who can relate!
Now I just have to wait ...
Blessings,
Holly
