I am Home!

Hi Everyone! I had an open Roux-en-Y on June 1st and am doing fine! I came home yesterday...I am tired but that is to be expected. I sip, sip. walk, walk, and then nap! What a life. It is true what they say....you aren't at all hungry! If anyone has any questions about the open surgery please email....mine went without a hitch! Sue

Sue congratulation on your surgery. I'm also having open two weeks from tomorrow. I can't wait. It seems like it will never get here. I'm worried about getting sick or an infection between now and then but know all will work out for the best. Good luck as you start this part of your journey in weight loss.

Stacy, The pain has not bee too bad. I have just been using Adult strength liquid Tylenol and that takes care of it! Good luck on the 10th! Sue

Great to hear your surgery went well. I also had surgery on June1st and it couldn't have gone any better. I'm looking forward to the coming days and months working with my doctor. Best of luck to you

Congrats Sue! I'm glad all went well for you. I hope everything continues to get better. I am scheduled for June 13th, Yikes so close and yet so far. My stomach just got sick at the mention of the surgery date....omg. wish me luck and say prayers. Kemah
