I MADE IT HOME

hi junebugs! i made it home yesterday, stayed at my parents last night. i really want to stay again tonight but i am feeling pushed out. i had the pleasure of meeting eileen in the hospital, i found her on this site! i can tell ya, this is not what i expected. day 1 was the roughest, reaching day 2 i felt 100% better. but like everyone has told me, this is major surgery. i still have a lot of pain and of course very very tired. trying to drink my water and get on the treadmill. this feeling of not being hungry is just so weird. oh well, i guess i am going to go lay down some more. hope to hear from more of my june buddies and i hope everyone is doing well! mary jo

Congrats on making it through the surgery and home. At first it is rough sometimes but in the end it will be all worth it Jess

Hi Mary!!! I to had sugery JUNE 1 and im home doing well. NO complications yet......sipping and drinking my clear fluids... gurgly tummy, some pain but doing well i think. Feel free to message me GOOD LUCK! FEEL WELL LOVE LISA

Did you have open or lap? How bad has the pain been? I will have having surgery on the 10th. Stacy

I'm still 14 days away but always glad to hear the results from post-ops. I look forward to not being hungery all the time. Keep on feeling better and post everything. Debbie
