I almost lost it!

I completed the pre op testing today & saw my surgeon one last time before surgery on 6/13 While meeting with him he decided not to do a filter...which I am kinda happy about. He went over my current medication and said that he wanted to post pone the surgery for one month! WHAT! NOOOOOOOO~ So he asked me why & I told him my sister is comming from florida to take care of my daughter, she has already arranged to take the month off. So he said ok.... & then I though hey wait a min. WHY does he want to post pone, look dying is NOT an option here. So he said that he is going away at the end of the month and people who are on medication for depression dont do so well after sugery. I can handle that, I have a wonderful support group in place to deal with my insanity! SO I am back on for 6/13. Wow what a journey!

Whew, that was a close one. I'm so glad you kept your date especially since your sis is coming to help out. I can't imagine what I will do if anything postpones my date. I'll just keep praying for you, me & all of us on the journey. Dj
