18 year old changing life!!!

I GOT A DATE!!!!!! I have struggled with weight all my life and finally finally finally after two years of working at it... I have a surgery date!!!!!! (June 23rd!!) WOOOO! I just had to tell everyone and ask for support and prayers! I'm a little scared, but absolutely CAN NOT wait!!!

Dear Kelsey, God bless you! You know, my first reaction to your post was, "God, she's too young for this" . But I realized that if I had done this when I was 18, I wouldn't be in the condition I am today. You really have your head together. I don't know you, but I am proud of you and all the thought you have put into this. You are a great example for others your age and the bad reputation they sometimes get for not being able to make a decision or not carrying things through. Your determination is going to pay off in a really big way. You are a beautiful young lady, who has walked some difficult miles. The rainbow is coming out and your pot of gold will be waiting for you! My surgery is June 13th. I know, it is so exciting. I know I am doing the right thing as well. Some family members are concerned about negative press that sometimes accompanies this surgery. I told them not to worry and that I will be just fine!
