Hi, There are several of us scheduled for June 20. So far, so good. Do you have all of your pre-op tests out of the way? I finish up this week. Then, on Sunday, I leave for a cruise. Great timing, huh? Anyway, keep in touch. We will be going through this at about the same time. Cheryl

How exciting! Where are you having your surgery done? I will have my pre-op tests on the 20th, then surgery at 8am 6/21. Wish I was going on a cruise! Where to? Good luck on your upcoming date. wj

My surgery will be at St. Joseph's Hospital in Towson, MD. Believe it or not, I am having two surgeries at the same time. Seems as I may have thyroid cancer so another surgeon will also be removing the rest of my thyroid. I can't believe both surgeons agreed to do it at the same time. The chief of critical care at St. Joe's is my pulmonologist. I trust him beyond all belief. He is taking an active part in aftercare so I know I'm in good hands. The cruise goes to Bermuda. We were on the same ship (Royal Caribbean) last July and liked the staff so we chose to use them again. Leaving from your home port is wonderful - no flying an lugging baggage. After the two weeks of doctors and tests, I really need this cruise! Cheryl
