2 more weeks to go, june 9th

I had my pre-op consult on friday and I lost 7lbs since the last time I was there, YEAH! I am know at 244.2lbs. I am stay between 240 & 260 that is normal but I have not lost any in a very long time. The doctor says everything looks good, he spent a long time with me answering all of my questions, I am sure he has heard them all several times, but he was great. He said that he does not forsee a problem with having to convert to an "open" procedure, that is good news. I am more excited at this point, last week I was more scared, next week I will probably be more scared but for now I am happy and excited!!!! It is funny how I can read all of these message's on this board and have not ever meet any of you, but yet I have this strong feeling that I know each and everyone of you personaly, we have a bond that the majority of the rest of the planet does not understand. God bless us all, and guide our sergeons eyes and hands. I pray for a speedy recovery to our new lives. -amen

Best of luck to you!! I have'nt felt scared about the surgery at all! I am just so excited!! I was concerned with taking my car across the border but now that has changed and I am going to be flying, which is an even scarrier situation because I have never flown before, but I think I am o.k. with it so far, when it comes time to get on the plane I may freak! I certainly hope not!!! I am sure it will be o.k.! Have a safe journey! Suzie T.
