Surg date June 7th, 2005

I had the lap band placed in Nov 2002. The appliance broke and I had to have another surgery Sept 2003. I then had 2 obstructions and GI Bleeds. I am now having the lap band removed and a gastric bypass performed. I am so looking forward to this finally being in the past. Bright blessings for all of you who are on this path. The lap band literally saved my life. Without a functioning lap band, my life would be lost. I have no regrets about the lap band except that it did not work for me long term.
