Hi...6/16/05 is my big day!

Hi Everyone!! I just found this board......pretty cool!! ITs nice to be able to talk to people going thru the same thing I am!! My surgery date is June 16th 2005 at 8am. I will be admitted the day before on June 15th at 7am for the Greenfield Filter placement and will be staying overnight till my surgery the next day at Ohio State University! I'm very excited but scared also! I got 2 PE's(pulmunary embolisms...blood clots) and CHF when I gave birth in Jan 03, (can read profile) SO i'm afraid it may happen again. I know with the filter and heprin shots before and after surgery will definetly help, but still!! I have 6 boys, 2 are my stepsons, they are all ages 2, 5, 8, 9, 11, & 12. They are my pride and joy along with my wonderful hubby...Russ!! Anyway I wanted to introduce myself and say hi to everyone!!! Hugs, Tabitha

Tabitha Just wanted to wish you luck on your big day...I'll be following you on June 22nd. I'm scared also...hang in there...We'll both be "losers" by the end of June! Geri

Hi Tabitha!! I am also having surgery on the 16th!! Not sure of the time yet. I won't know until the day before. I am so excited, not really nervous at this point but I'm sure I will be. I have an awesome surgeon, so I'm very glad about that. I sooo look forward to being a big 'ol loser!! Hugs, Jackee
