WOW that's just around the corner. I have pre-op testing tomorrow, EGD, CXR, UA Gallbladder, Blood work, EKG, the list seems endless but worth it. My hubby is going to go with me. Then next week I have an appointment with Dietition, and Surgical WL Coordinator for my hospital, then on the 26th I have to see the Cardiologist, the surgeon, and the anestesiologist. Then I'll be all set. LONG LIST HUH? I'm really excited.... Lorrie

Lorrie, Me too! I have my pre-op testing done on Wednesday, 2 weeks before surgery! I have an ekg and blood work.....don't know what else. I already had the gallbladder scan a couple of weeks ago. Had my chest x-ray and pulmonary function test...met with the dietition and went over the surgery. I do still have to sign the consent for surgery! It is really exciting! Sue

Hi all! I am 17 days, always a day late. One final hurdle to cross - final approval from my Canadian public health insurance company to give the rubber stamp. (that is unless they go on strike - which is tentatively scheduled for June 1!) I hope all of you get to the losing side, give me a day to catch up.
