YEAH! June 7th!

I got a call today and my surg. date is June 7th..I'm so excited! I keep trying to think of how I will change but I can't even imagine...I'm just hoping I love all my new changes and a healthier me! Congrats to all with upcoming WLS dates! ~Issy

I'm also June 7! Are you guys as nervous/excited as I am? I alternate between being extremely excited and very afraid; never had major surgery. I'm sure everything will be fine, though. Good luck to you!

I am 100% having the same feelings as you! I can't even imagine how my body will change...and that's wicked exciting... but then I'm also very afraid...of the complications that could happen. My whole family (well, almost) is very supportive and they keep telling me how great things are gonna go...so to keep my fears down I'm trying to listen to what they have to say. I'm sure we will both do great! I'll keep you in my prayers! ~Issy

June 7th, also....woooo hoooo I'm soooo excited...no more diabetes, yay!! I did not have to have a referral from my PCP because I'm private pay, but I went to see my PCP today and, thank goodness, he was very happy I had made this decision. My family is behind me 100% and that sure does help. I CAN'T WAIT!!! Margaret V.
