Approved and date set!! June 13th

I was approved in 1 day. I have Blue Cross PPO and I had no idea it would go so fast after the pre-auth was submitted. I am ecstatic. I will soon be a BIG LOSER!!

Add me to the June 13th gang! This is my first post... and I am new to computers, so please bare with me. I am very nervous but looking forward to it. I'm kinda confused about the insurance stuff tho. I live in CA but have Empire (Blue Cross / Blue Shield) PPO out of NY. They said it's considered out-patient surgery (less than 24 hours), so they do not pre-authorize. However, if it goes over 24 hours, then it's in-patient. The nurse I'm working with agreed that we should get together the info they require for in-patient surgery, just in case.She said with my stats - weight 416; BMI 67; sleep apnea; being put on blood pressure and water pills - I more than likely have nothing to worry about. How can ya not worry? -Kathy
