JUNE 1st - YIPPEEEEE!!!

FINALLY, I thought it would never come true but I finally have a date - June 1st, 2005. I'm just a tad anxious but mostly so excited I feel like I could jump right out of my skin. I can't wait to be an official loser. I feel like my new life is just around the corner and I can't wait to take a peak. Wishing all the best to everyone else with a June surgery date. Would love to hear from other's who are on a similar time-line as myself and I want to say thank you to all those that have gone before me and shared their experiences so the rest of us can know what to expect. Hi Eileen, I'm with you! My date is June 13th and I can't wait! I know all of the challenges that are ahead of us, but boy are they worth it. It's a real chance at making a new life for ourselves. Eileen, I am June 1st also! I am excited...not a bit nervous..yet! We only have 4 more weeks! I have had my date since April 1st and the time has flown by! I have my pre-op tests in 2 weeks and then the surgery! Sue

Hi Sue, It's so nice to meet someone with the exact same date as me. I'd love to keep in touch and compare our progress if you're interested. I just received my date yesterday. I actually could have had the surgery as soon as next Friday, but I didn't want it on a Friday the 13th - LOL! I was so excited about having a date finally, I forgot to call today to set up my pre-op testing! I scare myself sometimes. I'll be sure to call tomorrow though! Thanks for replying! Eileen

Eileen, Yes! I would love to be a baribud with you! It will be nice to have someone the exact same place as I am! It will also be interesting to see how different doctors have you do things.....see if there is any differences! Sue

WOW EILEEN we are the same day! We will be the first in the room to go in !!!!! REMEMBER we have to tell everyone how we do they will worry. I had to reschedule my date out one week from MAY 25th! but one week more wont kill me! GOOD LUCK!
