June 22nd is OUR day!!

Less than 2 weeks to go!!!! OUR DAY IS ALMOST HERE!!!

So, does everyone have a time set for surgery? I have to be at the hospital at 6:15am and my surgery is scheduled at 7:30am. Yesterday, I got weighed in and made 10% weight loss my hmo required me to lose. So I lost 32 pounds in 1 year 3 1/2months (slow weight loser). Again congratulations to all. Claudia

I think I have to be at the hospital at 5 am, surgery scheduled for 7. I'll find out for sure next Thurs when I go in for my pre-surgery visit and meet the anesthesiologist, nurse and so on. I'm in the midst of the pre-surgery diet to shrink my liver, I didn't weight myself before I started it so I won't know how much I've lost, but I can see the difference in my stomach. I'm excited, nervous and scared all at the same time! Good luck to everyone!!! Meka

How interesting, my pre-surgery visit is also on Thursday 06/16/05 12:20pm. I also get to meet the anesthesiologist, last visit with doctor and pre-admission to the hospital at 11am. I've been doing the pre-surgery diet without breads & rice, etc for the last 2 months. It's amazing how much the liver shrinks, I've noticed it fast. I had to read your profile to make sure we weren't having surgery at the same hospital! I started my diet on June 1st, only eating Slim Fast and frozen dinners like Healthy Choice or Lean Cuisine.
