HELLO /ALL GOOD NEWS I HAVE A DATE. IV HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR A YEAR AND HERE IT IS.ITS IN JUNE 14 2005 MY TEST IS FOR JUNE 7 2005 IM APPROVE IN ONE TRY IM ON A GOOD ROLL .WITH GOD ON MY SIDE ALL THING IS ALL GOOD

Congrats Christy, I know how you fill, I too have just go my approval and WLS is June 13th. While it really only took 2 weeks, that was the longest 2 weeks of my life. Let's keep in touch. I have read almost everything the internet has to say about the surgery and still don't think I'm as prepared as I should be. My doc. wants me to lose 15-20 lbs before the surgery. What about you? Hi I was so excided last week to find out I had a date for surgery June 28 but not approved yet by my insurance. It has been a long week waiting for a answer for approval. I drive a school bus and wanted to wait til school was out for the summer that way I have 10 weeks for recovery and getting used to a new life. I got that call ,its approved. I have been soooo happy and nervous all at once. Keep in touch both of you. Good luck,Cindy

Hi Cindy! I, too, waited for June to come for the surgery. I am a high school teacher and will be having the surgery the first Monday after school is out! I was approved this morning and I am so ecstatic! Get ready for the rest of your life!!!! Katie

Congrats on your surgery date. I just got mine set up this week too. I am scheduled for June 6. The first time mine was sent in for insurance approval, it was denied. My surgeon appealed, and then it was approved. However it was a stressful 5 weeks waiting for the approval after resubmitting! Congrats.... for joy!
