Happy dance! I have a date!

I just received my insurance approval this week and my surgery is scheduled for June 1st! whooohooo Sue

I am more than ready! When reading some of the posts....I have jumped through most of the hoops before even being submitted to insurance! I have a 6 hour day on Wednesday. Chest X-ray.....meet with pulmonologist, dietitian, the nurses, my surgeon, sign consent to preform surgery forms......anyway I can't wait! I am really getting edgy though....I guess reality is finally hitting me! Good luck with your surgery! Sue

I'm ready too! I've had all testing done. Only thing left is to meet with the nutritionist. My only concern...the girl in my doctor's office keeps telling me not to worry...they've never had a problem with my insurance and she has not even submitted it yet for approval. I wonder sometimes if I should be concerned. Every time I mention it she tells me not to worry. I guess she knows better than me. Well, good luck and keep posting so we know how you are doing.

Yeeoww.....It took me over 4 months to get approval. I hope your insurance is faster than mine!

I hope so too. I asked Debbie in the office again today if we should submit soon and she said "not to worry" it is not good to submit too early. That doesn't make much sense to me, but she seems to think I will definitely be approved. Guess I have to trust her. What choice do I have?
