i am going to do the 5DPT beginning Monday, my DH is going on a week-long business trip for work, leaving Sunday, so i think that will be the most opportune time to take advantage. i wont have to worry about cooking for him, i will have ready-to-eat things for the kids, my girls are 17 and 15, my son is 8, so they will pretty much be able to fend for themselves. i am doing this more out of control than hopeful weight loss, i need to regain control and take advantage of the wonderful tool ive been given. i've neglected it for too long and its cost me 30 pounds! here is the link and info about the 5 Day Pouch Test if anyone is interested www.5daypouchtest.com always in my thoughts and prayers .. -hugs- dawn RNY 02/16/05 pre-op 291#/lowest 168#/current 198#/goal 170#

Sounds like a great idea Dawn. I can't commit to the 5 day pouch test but I can say that I am back in control so far and have been taking it day by day. So far I am doing pretty good. I had joined weigh****chers a while back just so that I have to be accountable for myself and face someone to weigh in. Since last Thursday, I have lost 6.6 pounds. It was probably all water weight at this point. I was retaining so much water due to all the crap foods I was eating. I will be here to support you the whole way thorough. Shelley

I'm checking in to see how you are doing? Were you able to do the 5 day pouch reset? Stay positive and don't forget your not alone. Hugs, Shelley
