Milestone!

Well everyone, today I leave for a trip to Great Wolf lodge with my DH and kids. For those of you who do not know, it is an indoor waterpark. It is huge with giant slides and everything. Two years ago I was there with my family, before wls. It is the pic of me with my hubby in the purple shirt, at my biggest. I was sick and fat and miserable. I had palpitations on the rides and couldn't really enjoy myself. Every girl that looked half way decent that walked by I would look to see if my husband was looking at her and wondering why he was with me. We even got in a fight over that. It was one of the worst fights we have ever had. I am going back, and I am excited and nervous all at the same time. Although I am thinner now, I still do not have a great body image. I do think I will enjoy all the action now though, I did buy a new swimsuit that is quite flattering, even pre tummy tuck. Wish me luck everyone and have a great weekend. Hi Wendy! Congratulations on reaching your milestone! I'm sure you're going to have a great time. I hear you on the body image thing. There are some days that I feel thin and others when I feel as fat as I was. It's so bizarre! I want to thank you for your personal email message to me. I guess I sounded desperate in my message to Mary Jo. I'm struggling big time and am afraid to weigh myself. I plan on weighing in at weigh****chers next Saturday. I'm going to up my exercise and cut out carbs totally this week. Have a great time at Great Wolf Lodge! Let us know how it went. Love, Lucy

Oh Wendy, I think this trip will be wonderful for you!!! You are incredibly brave to go in a swimsuit~ I have so many pockets of fat and sagging skin that I could not wear one right now. Have a great time and we want details! I am sure your going to have a blast! WITH our weight loss comes self esteem! YOU will be confident and enjoy this go around. GOT me thinking to try the one near me... in the POCONOS... might be an affordable fun family trip. I dont take lots of time off work so this might work out fine.
