Hello Everyone, I am back from a wonderful relaxing vacation. My husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary (a little early its actually in Jan) but we needed to schedule it now because we are both in school in Jan. But anyway we went to a cabin the the North Georgia mountains and then we went to Las Vegas for 6 days. We had a blast. We went to see Phantom of the Opera twice and we saw a Circe de Sole performance called KA. It was wonderful. The hotels there are incredible and we had such a good time just walking around looking at the sites. Neither one of us gambles or drinks so it may seem like an odd choice of a vacation but it was really inexpensive to go there and it was fun. We stayed at the Luxor hotel which is Shaped like a pryamid and we got to meet our kids idol Chriss Angel. I wasn't really very familar with him. He is a magician he has a show on A&E called Mindfreak, but my kids are really into him. Anyway we got to see one of his stunts and then later on we got to meet him and have a picture taken with him and he signed a shirt for my son. Steven was very excited to get an autographed Chriss Angel tee shirt. But all of our kids said it was weird to see a picture of their mom and dad standing with Chriss. We got to go visit the Hoover Dam and the flight back to Georgia the plane had to fly at a lower altitude due to turbulance, but that meant that we flew right over the Grand Canyon and we got a great view of it. All in all it was a great trip. I ate badly and I am having trouble getting back on track. I only got sick twice, once I got something stuck (never had that happen before) that was not pleasent. And the other time, I got brave with the buffet and drank chocolate milk on top of dinner, bad mistake. Well I need to get back on track. I didnt gain any weight but it was a miracle that I didnt. I am having some trouble with my knees so I havent been exercising. Its kinda weird and if anyone has any similar experiance or any input I would appreciate it. I used to have really bad arthritis in my knees before my surgery but I havent had any problems since I lost the weight. Up until a couple of weeks ago I was walking 4-6 miles a day 4 or 5 days a week. But after Thanksgiving coming up on finals. I didnt have time to exercise. But right before I went on vacation. I started having problems with my knees. The kind that I used to have pre-surgery. I still have some celebrex from before but I dont want to take it because of the risk of ulcer. Anyone who has a suggestion I would be grateful. Well, I missed you all and I hope you all had a great holiday. Hugs Lynn

Wow 25 years!! Congratulations! I am so glad that you had a good time. I would love to see Vegas too. We don't drink or gamble either, but I have heard that it is a cool place to go anyway. I want to see a Tom Jones show!! I have no idea about the knees, other than, maybe because you have walked all along you developed muscle to strengthen them, and then when you stopped excersizing, they went lax a little and don't support your joints as much. This is just a wild guess though. Maybe all the wild sex you had on your vacation bent them in the wrong way!!! LOL!! Sorry, I couldn't resist! Maybe see the ortho doc and have some tests done. Hope you feel better soon. Wendy

Thanks Wendy, The knee pain came before the wild sex LOL. Any way the knee seems a little better the last couple of day. I am going to start exercising again on Tuesday so we shall see how it goes. We really enjoyed ourselves and it was a memorable 25th. Now its time to get back on track. Lynn

HI Lisa, How is daycare? My first week back was slow but it was still tireing. Las Vegas was wonderful, all that I wanted it to be. We loved all the hotels I think the Venetian was our favorite. Hopefully the knees are healing and I can get back to my exercise. How are things going for you. We have always seemed to stay pretty close to the same weight and same challanges. I am really stuggling to get back on track. How are you doing? I still have a hard time with the whole daycare food and snack thing. Sometimes I wish I had a job where I was not around food all day. Oh well, such is life. Let me know how things are for you. Happy New year Lynn
