Finally!!! Plastics!

Well, I am finally at the last stages of the metamorphosis. I am beginning my plastics starting with a tummy tuck and butt lift on the 6th of February! I know that I will want to have the breast lift and thigh lift done after that, but I have to come up with the 8-10 thousand dollars to do it! I already am shelling out the 3700 for the butt lift. I had to after I saw the picture of my backside the plastic surgeon took the last time I was in his office. I was absolutely appalled at how bad I looked back there! I have no ass, but what skin I have was in my thigh area and you could see the roll of tummy fat from the sides, it was awful! Plus if I do the butt lift the tummy tuck is more circumferential and I will lose more belly and my sides will have a tighter firmer look. I am terrified, but scared not to go through with all of this. Now if I could only win some kind of lotto or something!!!! LOL!! Probably have to get a loan, but I don't think I will mind making the payments on that one. Wendy

Hi Wendy! Congratulations on your upcoming plastic surgery. I know what you mean about winning the lotto to cover the surgeries. You'll do just fine. We'll be here to support you through the process. It is definitely an eye opener when you go to the plastic surgeon's office for a consultation. I saw my pre-op pictures at the doc's office and ugh, what a sight! Good to hear from you! It's been very silent on the boards. Probably with all the holiday festivities, people are very busy! Take care, Hugs, Lucy

Wendy: I'm getting ready for my plastics too. Starting with TT & Thighs on 1/12. One of our support group members pointed out that the surgery costs less than a new car, and will, hopefully, last longer.

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! How exciting!!! It is scarey going into it - but so worth it when it's all over. I don't regret it one tiny little bit. I'm just wishing I had the $$ and the time off to do my tummy, granny ass and thighs! I ended up getting a loan and promised myself and my hubby that I wouldn't persue anymore until I paid this one off. (Now THERE's an incentive!!) You are going to do GREAT!! I'm so excited for you! Hugs, Pam

Yeah, I know about the money thing! I was so glad the insurance covered the tt portion. I also have to worry about taking anymore time off of work after this. They are being nice, because I have to do the hernias anyway, and they are desperate for people right now. But any elective stuff will probably have to wait for a year or two, plus coming up with the money and all. I am just so anxious to be done with all of this. My plastic surgeon though doesn't help when he tells me how much worse my boobs and thighs will look compared to my new tummy LOL! And he wasn't kidding!!! Wendy
