What? Me skinny?

I was at payless today and a lady talking to the sales clerk pointed at me and said "that skinny lady over there doesn't like these boots either." Holy crap! I have been looking in the mirror all afternoon trying to find her, but I just don't know where she is hiding! LOL! Wendy

That's too funny! People say things to me all the time...like you are looking great and I am thinking to myself...are you talking to me? It's hard to take compliments sometimes...but they do make you feel great! Jamie

Yeah I still don't believe anybody when they say stuff. I keep looking over my shoulder to see who they are talking about! LOL! But I hope it sinks in someday that I am not a huge freak anymore! I still feel like one most of the time. Wendy

Hi Skinny!! Wendy, I've been getting that since I went to Las Vegas in August. I don't see myself as skinny either Now I'm getting that from my doctors both at the hospital and my personal docs. Your story reminded me when I was shopping in a gift shop at the Flamingo Hilton. A sales lady came up to me and said, You're looking in the wrong section, this is the plus size section and you're too skinny to be looking in here!" WHOA! What a shock! Gotta love those days! It's a image thing for us. Our minds haven't caught up to our shrinking bodies. Love, Lucy
