Stay away from doctors!

I am convinced it is a conspiracy! I went to the ob/gyn for one thing ended up having surgery on two things and a referral to the urologist. Then had to do ultrasounds and IVP's (involving all sorts of torturous prep) and then a horrible bladder scope and biopsy experience where my innards were then gouged and burned!! I haven't peed right since! Now I have to wait for all these results to come in and then maybe more crap after that! I wonder if you stayed away from docs if you would live just as long without knowing all the crap that is wrong inside your body? LOL!! I am almost terrified now to go get my hernia repair and tt. I am afraid they will find some other horrible thing that needs to be scoped, chopped or lazered!! Wendy the fully probed!

Thank you for the compliment Lucy. I finally updated my profile to the new thing that OH is doing and have other pics on there. As for the previous post and this one, I know you understand as well as anyone what I mean! You have really had it rough this past few months too. I think we all go through rough spots and just feel fed up with it all. I was going through a moment and I think it is passing now. I guess I just did not realize how sensitive the bladder area is! Man, it really must have a lot of nerves down there LOL! Today I am ready for the rest to begin again. I am looking forward to being done with all of this and getting on with my life. I hope they get a date for me soon so that I can mentally prepare myself and get physically ready too. I am taking extra vitamins and some iron supplement now, because I was slightly anemic during this last surgery. I am sorry you are having a sad day today. I would love to come cheer you up if I lived closer! Maybe someday we can get together and trade medical horror stories! LOL! Love, Wendy

Girl, I'm sitting here with my leggs crossed and wincing.... you poor thing! I can't even imagine. I've had a few instances of being cathetered that were quite excruciating (without any painkiller) (the tube cutting me inside, the thing not being inserted all the way and the balloon at the end inflated in my tube and being stuck that way for four days) but OMG I can't imagine them doing a biopsy and being cauterized too. You deserve some kind of trophy for enduring all of that without CLOCKING someone right in the eye and not cursing them to kingdom come and back! I truely believe that. I'm so sorry you had to endure all of that. At least when they do the tt and hernia repair, you will be OUT COLD! ((((((HUGS)))))) Pam
