What a great challenge! Maybe I can start training in the gym now and then when spring hits, I could do a run. It gets too cold here too to do one in the winter. Shelley

Hi Shelley~ That's a great idea. I think just having a date out there for a race to work towards is a huge motivator. For me, having that goal~ an exact race and date, gives me something to hold myself accountable to. Hope you have a wonderful day! Hugs, Kerri

Sounds like a plan to me!! I've been angry at myself for not being farther down the road to my goal than I am. But have I been doing anything about it? Oh hell no!!! So I'm going to take this challenge. My poor ol' arthritic knees say I may need to keep it at a 1k walk or run for now. But we'll see what I can handle depending on when something comes up in my area. Connie 420/347/237/150

That's awesome Connie! If you have problem knees, I wouldn't even attempt running until you're sure your body could handle it. Start with that 1K, whether on a treadmill, around the block, or through your house! The name of the game is to get movin, movin! I bet you could find a charitable fun walk~ many times a 1K. Let me know how you like it, okay? Hugs, Kerri You've done amazing, by the way!!!!

Hey kerri You are exactly right. I've been able to exercise for 2 weeks now and still have;t done it. It's so hard when you forced out of your routine. So I took your challenge - I signed up for a 5K walk Thanksgiving day. And I'm making my 11 year old son walk with me. I'm not trying to loose, but I need A LOT of toning. Sharyn

Hey Sharyn!!! How are ya?? Too cool about your 5K! That's the spirit!! And, good for you for making your son walk with you! How are you feeling now that you've had some time for your body to heal? Was your plastic surgery a success? A lot of pain? I'm so excited for you! Hugs, Kerri

I'm feeling great now that the body has healed up quite a bit. the back of the arms still get sore - lipo hurts like a SOB!!! If you feel my skin, you can tell where the cannula went in. You can feel at least 3 grooves on the backs of each arm and on the insides of the lower arm, but the lower arm doesn't hurt. But it's mostly because they are STILL swollen. But I'm glad I had it done and can't wait to save up enough leave time - a little bit more money to get the rest done. I'm very anxious to finish the project.
