question regarding medication for WLS folks??
Hi, I am 14 months post-op and I am having some ankle pain in my left ankle. I had been told after my surgery that I can only take tylenol now, no ibuprofen or aspirin at all. Does anyone know what I can safely take for the inflamation that occurs with a twisted ankle for instance or arthritis type pain? Thanks for your help. Sincerely, LMW
You can take steroids if you have to, but they have inherent risks involved. You also can have cortisone injections at the site. I take darvocet (a prescription pain killer that is made with tylenol) It is a lot stronger than tylenol alone and works for most types of pain. Also lots of ice on the site.
