Thursday - ACCOUNTABILITY

I hope I'm not driving y'all crazy with this accountability thing..... but i just gotta give this a sincere shot.... Again...still not perfect....but clinging to the hope I can make you all proud of me for finally getting it right! Venti Sugar Free Triple Decaff Vanilla latte - 20g Protein *sigh* A vanilla almond biscotti - grrrrr a Banana 3-4 oz turkey cubes + 10-15 grapes + 2 cubes watermelon (lunch) 20g Protein? 3 Protein Balls 10.5 g protein (gotta make more!!) 2 cheeto's, 4 frito's, 6 mini-rice cakes (at a meeting with food in the middle of the table - Grrrrrrrrr) LOTS of Crystal light rasberry lemonade another banana Ground beef mixed with beans (slow cooked all day) with a little cheese and enchilada sauce on top (GOOD!) about 25 g Protein What's that? 75.5 g protein?? and probably 1600-1700 calories......sheesh.... I am finding that the meats cooked in the crockpot are easier on my tummy. Both the ground beef and the shredded chicken were awsomely moist. Can't wait till Saturday to crockpot something else!!! I have leftovers for tomorrow.... Oh yea, and a farewell luncheon tomorrow.... ***Special Request*** I put in for another position within the organization that i work for. It's a definite step up. I'm not sure if I will get it - but I am praying about it. If it's God's will - I would love to have the job. If it is not his will, I accept that. Would anyone else mind praying that God's will be done with this situation in my life?? Hugs, Pam

Good evening Pam. OK, I'm game.. Here's my day of eating: Breakfast - nothing as I had to weigh in at the doctors office. Early morning - had a large cup of coffee with skim milk and 1 serving of hazelnut flavored coffee creamer Lunch - lettuce salad with FF raspberry vinagerette and milk chocolate stallone pudding, 20 grams protein Dinner - tuna steak - 35 grams protein, cauliflower with brummels and brown spread, 1 tsp. Snack - blueberries and light and fit blueberry yogurt - 5 g protein Lots of water and my vitamins. 60 grams of protein in total. Actually today was a great day for me. The past few days I was eating too much. Exercise - 30 minutes on the Tony Little Gazelle Rider. Pam, I want to eat your vanilla almond biscotti, cheetos, fritos and anything else you can send me over cyberspace! That's my brain, eyes and mouth speaking.. I'd like to add a large serving of my favorite soft serve ice cream with chocolate sauce, nuts and whipped cream. Oh, Oh shame on me! At least I'm being honest here. I know that physically I couldn't eat all that and would I will say a prayer that you will get this job! Pam, it doesn't sound like you did that bad today. Only the biscotti, few cheetos and fritos.. Pam, I have been reading your accountability "reports" and this inspired me to become accountable for my self starting today. B= 1/2 c. cottage cheese, small banana S= 1 oz almonds L= 2-3 oz chicken breast, 1/2 cup steamed veggies S= 1 strip beef jerky, 3/4 oz raisins D= 1 small salmon patty, some noodles S= low fat yougurt I have drank more water today that I ever have, and I have started alternating walking and bicycling. Yikes~ I'm not even sure I can remember everything...isn't that horrible!!!! Let's see... Double shot of protein drink- min. 45g of protein 2 lg tablespoons of bean/cheese dip (leftovers) with about 10 pita chips (yikes!) 1 serving of snapea crisps- 5g of protein about 6 bites of steak (don't know how many oz. that is) a couple of handfuls of mixed nuts 1 sf mint truffle bar And then I went to a Bunco night~ 2-3 meatballs sm spoonfull of cheese dip 2 tortilla chips 2 baby carrots with ranch dip 2 grapes 2 bites of tuna another 1.5 scoop protein drink late tonight Crystal light raspberry lemonade, protein drinks, and water- combined intake about 50-60 oz. All vitamins, calcium, and B-12 in! (Finally something to feel good about!) No exercise today other than using an exercise ball. I did however do my first interval training (walk 3 min., run 1 min.) last night for 3 miles~ 45 min. I was still a little tired from that today. I haven't wanted to do this post, which is exactly why I need to do it!!! I have been grazing so much, that I don't know the exact amounts of things. A little bit of nuts here, a couple of crackers there. I really need to go back to measuring things out and not eating in between meals. I figure that since I'm only using a saucer plate, whatever I can fit on there should be about what I'm able to eat. I guess this isn't always true. Anyways, thanks Pam (I think~ ) for starting this, and I'll try to force myself to participate. As for the prayer part, that I CAN do! I will absolutely be praying for God's will to be revealed to you. Let us know what happens. Love ya! Kerri

I did good yesterday!! 1/2 c. special k with a little milk 8g protein 1 protein coffee 30g prot 1 oz turkey jerky 1 cheese stick 20g 1/2 turkey cheese kids sub, only ate 1/2 the bread probably about 10 g prot 1 more protein coffee 30g 1 more oz of turkey jerky and another cheese stick 20 g didn't do too hot with the liquids 2 bottles of water and a diet sobe but the protein count was way better than usual. And prayers said and done on your behalf. God speaks if you are listening and you are doing the right thing to get his opinion on this! Wendy

2 cups regular coffee with creamer and equal On the way to work - 20 oz orange CL with french vanilla protein powder and 2 spoons of benefiber (20 g protein) [my "regular" protein drink] protein bar (21 gms) 2 chicken strips (my usual lunch) $1.59 in the hospital cafe (about 3 oz, so 21 gms) 16 oz of H2O while getting my food and waiting in line. another protein drink on the way home from work (20 gms) I do this just about every day during the week................. 72 oz fluids 82 gms protein ------------------------------------------------------ Supper, 2 chicken strips, about a tablespoon each mashed potatoes & corn, 16 oz sf decaf iced tea, sf pudding On a side note---went to get my TX drivers liscense and put my real weight down, now that's a first, LOL And don't you just love how we can say I had 5 chips (or whatever) never counted my cheetos before, just eat at least half the bag,

Okay, I'm owning up for today (8/24) power crunch protein bar 1 oz lf cheese and 10 mini pretzels small Wendys chili side Wendys caesar salad 5 little chocolate covered prunebites (bad, bad, bad) 1 piece of sf chocolate (I can see a pattern, problem time is after work and before dinner, this is when I had the prunebites too) 2x4" slab of eggplant parmesan 1 sugar cookie (darn Harris Teeter and those samples, they get me EVERY time) fruit protein drink Its Friday morning, I have todays' plan...Little worried about dinner, will go out with hubby after the gym, this is usually a bad slip night for me since we usual share something like hotwings with fries or fried mozz sticks or chips and salsa, will try to get past it by going back in time to the early days of post surgery, when I just could not eat that stuff...Really got to get a way from the simple carbs and real sugar, even in small quantities they just make me want more...And I wasn't happy when I got on the scale this morning, I'm up to 127, this is the highest I've been since May when I had my hernia repair and got out of the hospital with extra water weight, usually range between 123-125, what the heck, it seems to me like I've been better about my food choices the last few days and now the scale is going UP!?! Anyway, will post tomorrow with what I ate today...Keep the train chugging, I really need to be on this track Alesia
