JUST WANTED TO SAY HI...

hello junebugs! i have not posted much lately, but i always read everyone's posts. i am glad to see that our june board is still alive, although i do see how much slower it is. i really would love to hear from PAM and TIFFANY, as i haven't seen nothing from them in quite some time. so, come on ladies, if i can do it, so can you! LOL as for me, i have been ok i guess. been a little depressed due to financial struggles, but went to my doc for meds. i still have to pick them up! LOL still no job, but looking. kids are good. my 8 yr old broke her wrist on sunday, fell off the monkey bars. but she is a trooper and feels ok. my son started football practice last week. i love it, he is so fun to watch! and i am doing ok with my journey i guess. as most of you know, i reached my goal of 120 in april. today i am down to 112, so i guess i have lost still an average of 2 lbs a month since then. i really don't want to lose anymore. yesterday morning i saw 111.8 on the scale! i know it is stress and not eating enough, but i really need to do something different to maintain. i want to be healthy. anyways, there's an update on me. if you are reading this and haven't updated on yourself lately, take a minute and update your junebug friends that just might be thinking about ya! hugs~mary jo

Hello to all the Junebugs: I like Mary Jo have read and not posted. Busy with vacations and grandbabies. I reached my goal of 150 in June and have maintained fairly well. I drop to 145 and back to 150 all the time. I wear from 6's to 10's depending on how they are made. Mostly 8's All is well here and I hope all is well with all the Junebugs. Taking all 8 grandbabies to the waterpark tomorrow. I will really be stressed tomorrow. will be the word of the day!!! Ages 10 to 3 months O Boy, Hubby will be going bald. No really it is fun with them, the older ones help and we have a good time. I took the 4 older ones to the Grand Canyon and on a 3000 mile road trip the last week of July and we had sooooooooooo much fun. I ask the youngest I took to look over the canyon and what did he see and he said "Rocks, rocks and more rocks, what do you see?" we all just laughed so hard. I guess at 3 they are just rocks. Hey Mary Jo!!!!!!!!! It is so good to hear from you! Wow, you are doing really well. I wish I was down to that low of a weight! I am sure you look great! Sorry to hear that you haven't found a job yet, I know how you feel. I have been looking and there isn't much out there right now. I haven't been on here much because I have been going through a divorce. It has been pretty rough and very time consuming. I didn't have internet access for awhile either. As far as my weight goes- I am at 134. I am happy here. I went to see my surgeon for my 1-year last week (a little late) and he said that he doesn't want me losing anymore weight, that pretty much what I have left is lots of skin. I scheduled and paid in full for my first round of plastics. Breast lift with implants and brachioplasty (same thing as Pam) I paid $8500 and if my labs come back OK then I will be having that done on Sept. 7th. The tummy tuck is going to be $7000 actually its a lower body lift. I am not sure on having more children someday so I am going to wait a little while longer. I don't think I will want any but I really need to make sure first before I have that surgery. Anyway, I only have a few new pictures of my face. (((((tiff)))))))) girl, i am so glad to hear from you!!! i emailed you awhile ago, but never heard back. i am glad you are doing good with your journey, but sorry to hear about your other troubles. who knows, it may just be a blessing in disguise! you look beautiful! who's the guy? new boyfriend or soon to be ex? you are so lucky to be getting plastics. i definitely would want to get LBL, but don't see that ever happening.i can't wait to follow you in that journey! you best keep in touch, i have missed you!!! hugsssssssssss

I still need to lose some before considering it, and I want to be finished having kids (if we can) before having any ps done. A size 4/5~ that's awesome!! Sorry to hear about the divorce. I am jealous of the petite you though! I will always be a great big amazon girl no matter how much weight I lose!!! LOL! It sucks sometimes! But on a brighter note my love life could not be better! Wink, wink!! I guess my hubby likes great big amazon girls! Hope your little girl heals up quickly and I hope you don't spend too much time in a funk. You sure have a lot going for you. LOL my daughter is getting very frustrated with half cast. it comes up above her elbow and bugs her. she wants to take it off, but we have to wait for appt with orthopedics. thanks for prayers! love ya!!!

Hi Mary jo I was just wondering how you were. I am glad that you are ok. I hope that you find a job soon. My daughter is looking for a job right now also. It is tough. You would think that it would be easier then it is but it is difficult. You take care of yourself. You cannot take care of others if you dont take care of yourself. I will keep you in my prayers. As far as what is going on with me. Life is pretty "normal" now. I am down 137lbs. I would like to take off another ten but if it doesnt happen its not the end of the world. I have really gotten into exercise this summer. My brother-in-law died in an accident in May and I started exercising more to help me cope with the loss and now I really enjoy it. I am training to do a 10k on labor day. I usually walk/jog about 1 hour to 1 and a half hours 5 or 6 days a week. I havent lost much lately about 2 or 3 lbs a month but all the walking is helping tone up my body because I get a lot of comments about how I look like I have lost more and "when are you gonna stop losing" Who would have ever thought that I would get comments like that.LOL Well anyway, I hope you find a job soon. So glad you posted MARY JO and you better get your butt into the NY forums and post as well. SORRY your with the blues...i have them as well. MONEY woes arent easy. SORRY to learn of your child injury. THATS hard on mommies when our little ones are in pain and go thru such (((HUG))) as for me i guess you read my post on my recent ordeal...that sent me right in for a scope to learn i have an ulcer. SO nothing much with me daycare is busy for summer and im running my daughter all the time to cheering practices. GLAD you posted and were here for you even if its un WLS related!
