Hello Junebugs, I hope you are all well. It has been ages since I've checked in. First our vacation to Spain was just awesome. I drank, ate, dance and layed on the beach too much but it was a blast. Second, I had my anerysum and Bypass surgery last Wednesday. I got out yesterday and according to the hospital scale came home 13lbs lighter. I know I'm a bit dehydrated because they want it that way but I believe I did lose at least 6 or 7lbs. I'm now at 207.6. I hope I can maintain most of that and lose some more next month. I was released yesterday and feel tired but very good. They were shocked at how soon and how much I walked the first day but I told them I did it after bariatric surgery there was no reason not to do it with this one. This surgery was much less painful but will take longer to recover because of broken bones. All and all I'm doing well and I hope you are as well. I've missed you all. I may actually make 199lbs in two months. Chip

Hey Good Lookin'!!!! I am soooooooo glad you are doing good. I have so seriously been wondering about you! I knew you were in Europe so I didn't post. I am glad to hear you are on the mend. Do everything they tell you and don't give Heath any grief! You will have to tell us more about Spain when you are feeling better. I have lost 8 lbs this last week from the flu!! LOL! I guess sometimes all this sick and stuff can come in handy! And 3 weeks ago, I was wishing I lost my appetite!! Stupid me! Keep us posted on your progress and I am now at 213 so I will race you to Onederland!! Wendy

Hi Chip. Glad to hear that you are home from the hospital. WOW, you had some serious stuff going on. Remember to take it easy so you don't land up back in the hospital. I too was in the hospital in July for a strangulated hernia that required emergency surgery. I landed up back in the hospital with a lot of pain above the surgery site due to localized inflammation and infection. I was treated with antibiotics and pain medication and now I'm doing a lot better. I lost a lot of weight because of my illness and have only 10 pounds to goal. When you're better tell us about your trip to Spain. Lucy 484.8/383.4/170/160 pre-surg/surg day/current/goal weight
