Not feeling well today guys....

Just let my careing family know i wasnt well today. I am throwing up a color i never saw in my life come up... i guess its either blood or bile.... SO of course i phoned the surgeon and I am having an upper endoscopy done in the am.... i will let you know more when I know .....I am feeling better not still vomitting but the fact i did vomit several times that dark (coffee grind color) scared me. lisa

Lisa, good to hear that you are going tomorrow to see the surgeon and get an upper endoscopy. You don't want to wait with the symptoms you've been having. Take care and let us know afterwards. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs, Lucy

Oh Lisa (((((hug))))) - I use to be an EMT and coffee ground looking vomit was an indicator of a G.I. bleed.....a very bright green color was more like bile. Listen to me on this: If you: Continue to vomit coffee ground looking substance Begin to feel weak, faint OR dizzy Begin to expel bloody stool Have a very fast heart beat ANY of the above symptoms, GO TO THE ER!! I don't say all of this to scare you or cause you panic, but because I love you so dearly and these symptoms can NOT be ignored. It's good that you are having the endoscopy in the morning - but please listen to me on the symptoms to watch out for tonight. There is a young man on the Virgina board (he also posts on the Sex B4 and after board) who had a bleeding ulcer and a very close call. It was very fast paced for him... this is a reason why I worry. His name is Keith Barron... look him up and read his profile (I think it was on his profile). I am sending up healing prayers for you and asking God to send you a fleet of angels to watch over you. I pray you are 100% healed and cleared of this condition and all symptoms of illness. May you be restored to perfect health and happiness. In Jesus name I pray this for you. THANKS EVERYONE... YES PAM, I sort of new that the color i was vomitting was a bleed....and did get on the phone with the surgeon right away. THE good thing was all my nasuas eased and i stopped throwing up. SO he felt I could wait till next morning for an upper endoscopy done by him. OF course I was instructed that if i threw up more then the 3 times I had already done to phone him .......but thankfully nothing, I also didnt eat to be sure I didnt throw up i just did with a protein shake in the evening. BUT anyway as my surgeon suspected i have an ulcer. THROWING UP caused it to bleed yesterday yet it wasnt a big one and was healing so he put me on 8 weeks of nexium now.
