here is my dilema........
I AM ALWAY SOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooo cold.
And what i dont get is my house is 85 and i am still cold...
I dont want AC, i cant get in my pool to even swim cause

before it was to me and ac would be running, hubby is
complaining at me )
SO tell me folks are you all finding these summer temps
still cold or is this me??? i guess i ask with my numbness
matters.
THANKS! LOVE to hear from what others are going thru.
SURE i understand i lost alot of insulation but this is crazy!
WHEN will i feel comfty and 100! GUESS ill know next week
thanks in advance!
Hi Lisa~ This is a great question because so many of us were dealing with the coldness issue. I live in S. Cal where it is routinely over 100 degrees. I do still need the air conditioning, although I can withstand the temps a lot better now than I used to. I don't get cold very often in my house with the temp set at about 75, although I do lower it if I'm working out. I still take a jacket/sweater into all restaurants and movie theatres because of getting cold. However, I don't get cold as often in this weather. I do get hot in this weather.
Don't know if any of that helps or not. Keep us posted about your progress and about the numbness issues. Is it a neurologist that you're going to see next week? Hopefully it will be something that will just go away.
Blessings,
Kerri
Hi Lisa,
Long time no post.....life has been challenging lately.....such a busy time of year!
To answer your question...yes! I am freezing all the time too! I wear a sweater in the house, take one with me to the stores as they are always trying to freeze me out and any where else that has air conditioning. I always 3/4 length sleeves (to hide my bat wings) or long sleeves plus the sweater.
My husband says that I look silly wearing a sweater all the time....then he touches my hands or sees the goose bumps and then understands. I still wear my flannel p.j.'s to bed!
I not only think we lost our insulation but I know that my blood pressure is very low (usually around 84 over 48) so that means less circulation too. Anyway...I think we are very "normal"!
Have a great day!
Sue
320/goal130/current 120 and still losing!
Lisa!!!
Me too! I don't know why it is.... I agree about losing all the excess insulation.... but SHEESH! I guess the lower blood pressure thing makes sense too...
It's odd. Before wls, I camped out in the a/c and rarely went outside. Now, I actually ENJOY going out in the heat - it feels so good!
It's time for me to get my labs done again - so I don't know how things are with my levels right now... But I did have low Vit D and B12 on my last labs... not sure that has anything to do with it.
Keep us posted on what happens on your appt. Hope everything goes well!
Hugs,
Pam
It is odd, isn't it. I have my AC on 80 and I have a blanket over me and everyone else is hot. Wonder if it will stay this way or change slowly? My sister is only 110 pounds and she is cold all the time too. She has never been overweight so leads me to the thought that this is the way it is going to be.
When I get in the pool I am really cold. Can only go in when it is the hottest outside then it feels really good to get out

Hi Lisa,
Sorry to hear you are so cold. I fortunatly am not. I feel pretty normal. Sometimes my feet get cold but besides that I wear a lot of short sleeves and I get hot outside just like all the "normal" people do. But it sounds like from the other posters that I am more the exception and you are more the norm. Good luck. I miss hearing from you. Hopefully daycare is good this summer, mine is good but busy.

Lisa, I think I am somewhere in the middle. I set the A/C at home to 81 and am comfortable. If it's at 78, I am chilling and looking for a long sleeve shirt. As for the pool, my DH turned the solar down to 85 Friday and Sat I told him it was to cold and to turn it back up to 87. He said he couldn't believe I was "cold". But I get in after work and do laps, so alot of time the sun is down. On the other side, in this heat, I still sweat and get hot when doing anything outside. Maybe I am cold like you, but since I am 55, menopause may be getting me warmer at times, Ha ha.
