Finally a confirmation!!
I was at Walgreens today and saw a woman my height there. I am six foot and there aren't a world full of 6 ft tall women. She was gorgeous. Perfectly proportioned, not too thin, and not heavy at all.
So as I have had a horrible time deciding on a goal weight, because I don't know any women my height, I decided to take a risk and ask her.......gulp, how much she weighed! I know, I know, rude right? But I first asked her if I could ask her a personal question and she said yes, so then I told her about how much weight I have lost and my dillema with the goal weight and she freely offered up her weight. She was very nice and was glad to help me out. She said she just weighed in at 185 and was happy there as she was too thin before. She had gained weight on purpose!!! Shocking!!! LOL!
I suspected that I was correct in my estimate of around 180, and I was right! The surgeons office was saying 148!!!!!!! OK can you all say SKELETON?
So I have now a goal weight to shoot for fixed in my head. I am at 222 right now, so I figure 30lbs and then plastics! Not bad. It is slow going for me right now, but I am not really excersizing so I could probably kick it up and get there sooner if I tried hard.
Also I had a cute little WOW, this morning. One of my coworkers said I look like Nicole Kidman!! I had been told that before, some guy said I was like a fat Nicole Kidman, but I like the other one better!!! LOL! I don't see the resemblance, but since it is the 2nd time someone has said this to me, I suppose something about it must be true. (I am still a fat one though, she weighs probably all of a buck twenty right?)

You can be the NORMAL size Nicole Kidman since the real one has been looking pretty anorexic lately (since her split with Tom).
BTW, I can relate to the problem with the "Standardize" weight scale that doctors use. I am 6'1" and charts have me around 180 as a goal, which I could obtain if I were to remove a limb. I know that before I started putting on weight that I was very lean in the 210 - 215 range (late 80's when I was in the military), so I am going to be thrilled with anything in the 220's. And truthfully I feel great at 260, so the next 30 pounds are gravy.
I think you are right. I tried to respond to you last night, but it didn't go through, so I hope you didn't get it and think i'm an idiot for responding twice. I do think 220 is good for a tall guy like you. Men have lots of muscle mass that docs don't think about. And they also need to think about the curves that women have too. I am very large chested (albeit they are now in the general south direction) and I suppose 4 or 5 lbs of body weight could be a good estimate just in there! Some women have ample behinds or hips. I think realistically we need to up the charts.
