Date set for LBL and Abd. Hyst

Hey Everybody, I'm having an abdominal hysterectomy and lower body lift on August 10!! I'm excited and a bit scared...we have a cruise scheduled for September 17th...5 1/2 weeks after my surgery. Please pray for speeding and complete healing for me! I'm taking my vitamins...always do...increasing my protein drinks and exercising daily so I can be in the best shape possible to heal well. Hey Cindy, Good luck with you lbl!!! I watched one last night on the history channel but this women lost 309 pounds and got 35 pounds of skin removed!!! Im sure you will be fine especially if you are in such great shape before. I might get the travel insurance just incase your not feeling so great. Hope you are going somewhere tropical where I can only dream of now!!! Stacey

Hey Stacey, I considered the travel insurance, but decided if I can't go, I'll let my husband take one of my daughters in my place! We are going to the eastern Caribbean...St. Thomas, San Juan and a couple of other places...but I'm going to be on that boat!!! C

Haven't heard from insurance yet...if not, it will cost me $11,060...yikes!!! But that is $7,500 less than the first Dr. I had a consult with!!! C

Cindy I just wanted to wish you the best of luck. I know you are excited as I would be too. You will do great. I am a little jealous because you get to go on a cruise I have to be at work. Have fun!!!
