Weird comments!

I've had a couple of strange comments from others lately 1. after commenting on my wt. loss "Do you eat differently?" 2. (the best one) Do you Plan on keeping it off? Now I'm not making any promises but the PLAN is to keep it off. LOL Kathy C. HW=350 2day=188

Do you plan on keeping it off? - no pressure there. Great job with your weightloss. It sure is nice not to be 340 pounds in the 90 something degree heat. I love it! Dawn

Your response should have been "No, I just like having my guts rearranged for fun!" LOL! What are people thinking? Wendy

It cracks me up how people can be so serious and sincere when they ask questions like this. Like "here's your sign".... duh! I would sooooooooo want to say "Actually, no. I eat pretty much the same. Still have an entire box of ho-ho's for breakfast.... still eat a whopper with cheese, large fries, a piece of oreo pie and a large coke for lunch every day, a full-size bag of raisinettes for a mid-afternoon snack, and a large pizza for dinner. Now, sometimes I do skip the ice cream snack at nite..." AND THEN "Well, I really had only planned on losing the weight for my class reunion - but as you can see from what i eat everyday - I haven't a clue how to put it back on.... I may have to go back in for more surgery." and all the while give them the same clueless look. pam

Oh people.. especially the nosey nellies can be so fun. When my husband and i were trying to conceive with no luck we had many nosey people in our face asking embarassing questions and things that just hurt our feelings cause we were trying so hard. My favorite response when they would ask if we were trying to have kids.. i would smile really big and wiggle my eyebrows and say, "We try every chance we get!" I have just tried to take the weird hurtfull odd comments in stride and try to come up with equally stupid responses to make the day more fun. Paula
