Heading to Europe this week!

Hi all, Well it's almost here. Cris and are leaving for our trip to Europe on Friday. I can't believe it's finally here. We are both getting so excited. Here's the scoop on my knee and hip. I don't need knee surgery right now. The joint is pretty inflammed, but the MRI did not show a tear in the meniscus. My hip on the other hand definitely is torn. The labrum (or like the meniscus in the knee) has a tear. I will need surgery to repair it. I'm not having it until 8/16, that's when I'm scheduled. I want to get through our trip Germany and Italy and then our son's wedding on 8/5. I also have a wedding to photograph on 8/12. It's the only four week window I have until January! My one year anniversary is on Wednesday and I can't believe it's been a year already. What a difference a year makes. Thank you to all my fellow junebugs for your loving support and kindness!
