My Surgiversary!

One year ago, I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. Now, I am at goal and feel better than I have ever felt. My lab work just came back absolutely normal, my sleep apnea is gone, my blood pressure and cholestral are normal. I still have some arthritis issues, but I can deal with that. I would do this again in a second. My only regret is that I am left with oodles of skin and no money for plastic surgery. I bought my first bathing suit the other day. I haven't worn one in almost 40 years! Now I just need a pool! I am so very thankful for all the support I have received. Life is so good! Joy

Thanks Cindy! My doctor said I should put aside $20 every once in a while towards PS. HAH! It would take ten years to save up the money and I would be 70 years old!! Joy

JOy Congratulations on your surgiversary. You have done great. It is amazing what a difference a year can make. I have done a great deal of reflecting on that myself. I agree with you on the skin issue. I am not sure if my insurance covers it or not or wether I have the courage to go under the knife again. Oh well, I look great in clothes. Congratulations on the bathing suit. At the very least you can sit out in the sprinkler in your yard LOL. LYnn
