Starting tomorrow!!
I am starting my new job tomorrow guys. I haven't worked in 6 years I have been home with my kids. I was so excited, but now I am as nervous as can be!!!!!!
I keep thinking of what could go wrong! What about my kids, the laundry, the house, the dogs. What if I am not as smart as I was and don't catch on at the new job! What if I hate working. What if........ etc.
Uggghhhh!!!!! I know that after my training period I will go to part time only 2 days a week, but the next 5 or six weeks full time of 3rd shift? What was I thinking? I hope I can keep it together. I really want to go back to the hospital, I miss having a life that does not involve little people and furry critters! LOL!
On a happy note, I actually bought my scrubs and did not have to go to the plus section of the uniform store!! I was happy about that.
Thanks for listening.

Good morning Wendy~ It's totally normal to be nervous before starting a new job. All of those "what if's" can drive you crazy!! I know that you will be great! Hang in there and just make it through tomorrow. I really think it'll get easier from that point on. You can do anything for 5-6 weeks!! Look at what you've been able to do in a year!
If it's any consolation, I feel this way every August before school starts. Then after the first day starts, everything is fine.
Congrats on wearing misses sized scrubs. That has to feel great!
Hugs,
Kerri
Wendy,
Totally understandable.....anyone would be nervous about it.... I would be too! I'm such a creature of my own comfort zone. I hate sticking my toe out and testing new waters... But don't underestimate YOU girl! 6 years of household & family management is no easy job...it takes brains, strength, organization, decision making, and is plenty of work. Shoot, you can do anything after that!
Good luck on the new job!! You'll be GREAT!
Pam
Good Luck
Wendy
YOU will do great. I am always nervous before I start anything new. I can never sleep the night before. (Thank God for Ambian).lol. Are you a nurse? I am working on my teaching degree but I originally started out working on my nursing degree then I was afraid with my weight that I couldnt cut all the standing and walking. Now I could do it easily but it is kinda late to switch back. Oh well I will be a good teacher also.
Good Luck
Lynn
