My first surgiversary!

Hey All! Today is my first surgiversary! I won't go into the long list of reasons why I'm glad that I had this surgery...sufice it to say I am happy beyond words!! I've had a few bumps in the road (GB and internal hernia repair in January), but I wouldn't trade the experience for anything. It is so awesome to be wearing a size 6 and to feel normal for the first time ever...to walk into the room and not be the biggest person there...opps...I started the list! Anyway, I'm thrilled with the new me and I want to encourage any of you who are pre-op to follow your heart with the decision, and follow the rules afterwards!! I'll post my one year pics tomorrow! I definitely know how you feel about walking into the room and feeling like the biggest person there. It's so cool that we have the opportunity for that not to happen anymore.
