I was SOOOO NAUGHTY!!!

Ok, Lucy has been talking accountability, so it is confession time! I went to a concert last night to see Tony Lucca! You all have probably never heard of him, but he is really a popular underground artist that I have been following for years. I have been waiting a long time to see him live. I went to the club and decided to have one drink! I figured one would not kill me. However.... one turned into 4! I know, I know....I was wasted! I was having a good time and it hit me all at once, I did not intend to get drunk. I am 37 years old for goodness sakes! But that is not the end of my badness.....we then proceeded to Steak and Shake and I ate some Philly cheeseburger and fries smothered in cheese sauce!!! AARRRGGHHHH!! I know.... somebody smack me! I did however proceed home and puked my guts out, so I paid a price. I do NOT intend to repeat this incident, but let this be a warning to all my beloved Junebug's. Do not "Drink and Eat!" Sounds like you had fun (up until the puking part). It is your year anniversary, you should be allowed to party (a little). A big part of being post-op is re-discovering what our limitations are...So now you know!

Hi Wendy! Drinking was one thing I haven't done since surgery. I'd rather eat the food calories instead of drinking them. LOL. Looks like you got that out of your system, so that's good. Just get back on the wagon and the important thing is to learn from this episode of madness! We've all been there and done that or something similar. If someone hasn't it probably will happen eventually. Remember that we didn't get to this surgery without overindulging, so it's going to take some time to relearn eating behaviors, in with the good and out with the bad. I haven't heard about Tony Lucca - but I'm not into artists anyway. Glad to hear that despite the drinking and eating, you enjoyed yourself. Now, Wendy go and get 'em! You are so right! I am an either or kind of girl! Either I do it all the way, or I don't do it at all!! LOL! I need to keep moderating. This whole year has been an experience for me and the other night showed me that I still have a lot to learn! Wendy
