Well, here it is my first rebirthday!
Hello everyone,
I just thought I would take a moment to post today. I feel so humbled at the changes in my life this past year. I would never have imagined all the good that has come to me from finally breaking free of my weight. I am 130 lbs lighter then I was a year ago today and I no longer take any medications (except my vitamins). I exercise and I am even starting to enjoy it. I mowed the lawn for two hours on Saturday and that was after I had vacummed our church for two hours. I was really in awe of all the my body can do now. I am getting a little frustrated with my walking, I want to up the pace to a jog and up the mileage considerably and my knees dont want to cooperate. Too many years of being overweight. If anyone has any suggestions, I would love it. Anyway, I digress, I am so excited about the way I look and feel. I wear mostly a 12 now some 10 and some 14s depending on who makes them. My 18 year old son even told me last night that the outfit I had on was nice. I cant believe he noticed. I have really enjoyed all of you here on this board this past year. You have become my virtual friends. I am still going to have my rebirthday party. I just need to adjust the date. It was supposed to be last friday, but I didnt feel like having a party so close to my brother-in-laws death. I am going to reschedule it for later this month. Maybe closer to my real birthday which is July 7th. Today I will take my final picture. I have taken a picture every month on my rebirthday date and the change is remarkable. I will post a new one soon. Well thanks for letting me share.

Happy Anniversary Lynn,
You certainly have come a long way! 130 lbs is great! I don't know what to tell you about the walking part except, sometimes I add to my walk. Lifting my arms and maybe adding weights to your ankles and wrists. Don't mess your knees up they are valuable! Water aerobics would be good too. You can really work out good without stressing joints.
Wendy
Lynn~ You have been so successful!! And, to get a compliment from your 18 year old son!! That's a WOW moment in and of itself! Congratulations on all that you have accomplished and on how much more active you are. I understand your feelings about walking. I keep trying to add in a couple of minutes of jogging, but my body doesn't like it too much. Take it easy~ it will come. I'm with Wendy in cautioning you about your knees. My right one is pretty bad, as well.
Blessings,
Kerri
Kerri,
I just have to tell you, I love your picture. You are so cute. Thanks for the kind words and yes I was suprised that he noticed my outfit. They were really cute jeans though,LOL. I got them at the Tommy Hilfiger outlet store for 14.99. I guess we will just keep trying to up the exercise and eventually our bodies will get on board.
