Saying thanks?
Okay, MY anniversary is tomorrow, and I happen to have my one year check up scheduled as well.
I have lost 168 pounds (312 to 144), and I am wearing size 10 clothes. This is a weight and size that I have never before seen in my adult life... only briefly as a teenage when I sailed past it.
My surgeon has given me so much... a new lease on life.
I thought about taking him a plant or flowers or something when I see him tomorrow. I know it sounds cheesy, but I just want to show my thanks. I could never repay him for what he has given me.
Has anyone else done this? Any other ideas???
Nicole
OMG, Nicole!! I'm seeing my surgeon today and it is my anniversary day as well. I was thinking about giving him a small token of appreciation. Thanks for the reminder. I'm going to see if he will be willing to have a picture taken with me today.
Congratulations on your anniversary
I can relate to your words on weight and size in your adult life. Mine even goes further than that. I was fat since the age of 8, so I had no idea what I would look like as an adult other than fat! It's been an exciting journey this past year.
Life is grand!
Congrats again! Jumping for joy!
Hugs,
Lucy
