11 month pic's...

Hi all my fellow Junebugs~ I posted a couple of new pics if anyone wants to see. Happy with the progress, but I feel like I look so old!! The wrinkles are REALLY showing in my face (and elsewhere, but we'll keep this G-rated!) I'd love to see pics of all of you awesome Junies!!! Slidell is doing pretty good, but it will be years before things are back to normal. Most people are just getting in their cabinets and stuff for their homes. Since there was such a demand, everyone had to wait. For the most part, my house is done. Our stores still close early, and we are still over populated cuz we have all the contractors and displaced people from surrounding areas by us. But you learn to deal with it. New Orleans, I'm sure will be 10+ years before it is together. Unfortunately, what they do directly affects the cities around it, as we pick up the slack for them. Most of the conveniences are gone, but we are still thankful for what we do have. Yea, we are all pretty nervous about hurricane season. My area doesn't have levees. Our water came directly from the lake. You can't mess with God, so you just deal with it. Thanks for asking.

i wanted to check out your new pics ans although i have seen your pics many times, i just have to tell you...kerri, you were gorgeous BEFORE this surgery! truly, you were and of course, still are! love the new pics, too!!! hugsssss

Mary Jo, you're too kind! My DH sees my before pics and says that they make him really sad. I was fortunate because he never gave me grief before, but he's much happier with me now. I think I'm as happy for him as I am for myself. It's about time he got to reap the benefits of my weight loss instead of having to support me through the weight gain. And, you my dear, are look absolutely amazing. I just love the pic with your kids. It was worth every bit of effort to make that happen! Have a great day! Hugs, Kerri
