Lots of Happy for Jo

Well, I GOT THE JOB!!!! I start just after the 1st of July. I have been waiting a long time to get news. I believe I will be flying out on Friday morning to Palo Alto, CA to finalize which position I want and sign contracts, etc. I am waiting to have the trip confirmed. I will be working out there 4 days a week and will keep my home base in MN for 3 days. I am so excited, it is a huge raise for me!!! I am also starting to fall in love with my new guy, my Al. He is so great, I met him on Match.com. He is generous and loving and just what I have been wanting in my life. He is going to fly out with me over the 1st through the 4th of July for a romantic weekend and to get me settled in... He is very supportive of my career. I couldn't be happier. Today I tried on 6 pairs of size 8 jeans (just to be sure it was real). They all fit. And, a size 6 skirt zipped right up. Tops were size 6 and/or small petites. Wow... I am soooooo happy!! This surgery has opened so many doors for me. Thank you so much for being there for me!! On the down side, my car died again. Something is draining my battery. I have a new one as of about 3 months ago when this happened before, but now it has needed a jump start to get it started two days in a row. I'll have it looked in to but if any one knows what can cause that, give me a clue!! It was completely dead when I got home yesterday, started with a jump, I drove it 1/2 hour and today, the battery was dead again. Hmmmmm Hugs!! Jo

Jo~ You have so many wonderful things going on in youir life!! Sounds like you're going to be a CA girl with me, although you are waaaaay further north. If you make it to S. So happy for you! As for your battery that happened to us all the time. Sounds like your alternator went bad. But don't let that ruin your mood it is an easy fix. Congratulations!

Yep, sounds like the alternator to me too. It is not too expensive and easy to replace. My friend got engaged to a guy from Match.com. I have heard lots of good love stories from them. I am very happy for you with your new life! A new job and new guy, how exciting! You guys keep me up when I am having a bad day. Wendy
